Your Functional Medicine Practitioner

Like many health practitioners, Denise has had her own personal health journey that has lead her to want to help others. As an older teen and into her early college years, she suffered with debilitating chronic sinus infections. She had met a women who was a big nutritional advocate for a health company. This relationship introduced her to the support that can be yielded from nutritional supplementation. She gained responsive results from implementing supplements into her daily routine. She found that while taking these nutritionals, she was able to keep the sinus infections from coming at each change of the seasons. However, if she slipped up on her routine and missed too many days of supplementation, the dreaded sinus infection came back with a vengeance.  Of course, this unpleasantry pushed her to want to learn more about this whole dietary influence on her health. And so the educational journey began. 

Clayton College of Naturopathy is where she obtained her degree in American Family Herbalism. The discoveries of the earth's elements that can support the body was fascinating! We have all we need in our own 'backyard.' 

Institute of Integrated Nutrition (IIN) was where the formal training as a Health Coach was obtained. However, the many years working with Holistic & Functional Medicine practitioners built a solid foundation that made the IIN experience a breeze!

Live Blood Cell Analysis training came from one of the Masters of the industry, Susan Nichols. The hands on training and continued education offered was exceptional.

Lastly, she obtained a Psychology degree from the University of New Mexico.

2020 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training completed.
