Dismuzyme Plus – Biotics Dismuzyme Plus™ supplies superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase from a proprietary vegetable culture. SOD is the primary enzymatic free radical scavenger in humans. It functions to convert superoxide radicals to hydrogen peroxide and oxygen. Likewise, catalase converts hydrogen peroxide to oxygen and water, and therefore complements the activity of SOD. These activities are a crucial part of the cellular antioxidant defense mechanism, and by virtue of this function, these compounds play a role in moderating the natural aging process.* One (1) tablet three (3) times each day as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
